We are not currently recruiting. We will be happy to make you proposals for collaboration at the appropriate time.
ECOIA Sarl is an engineering company born from a real passion for development engineering and bringing together various skills that allow it to master projects as a whole and to offer its customers engineering to optimize costs and anticipating the various issues during all phases of the project.
ECOIA is both a design and consultancy office for the development of major projects and also a structure for support and investment. The quality and reliability of our services are strategic objectives to which we will always commit in order to provide services in accordance with standards and business quality requirements.
The human capital we have is characterized by the words “experience, seriousness and responsiveness”.
Its current capacity is that of its promoters who have acquired over the past ten (10) years long experience both in Benin and abroad and they intend to put these various experiences to the benefit of ECOIA with the support of its consultants in order to meet the requirements of these potential clients.
ECOIA Sarl aims through its capacities and ambitions to cooperate with States, public authorities, public or private companies, development donors and any private entity in their sustainable development.
The optimization, the economy of the project and the search for reliable and innovative technical solutions are our objectives for the satisfaction of each of our customers.
Cities and territories are led to promote urban planning that is more concerned with the environment and its impact on humans, in a logic of project and sustainability, in the field of regional planning, our skills cover the different planning scales: inter-municipal projects such as urban development master plans down to the city and neighborhood scale, detailed development studies for mixed-use projects (housing, shops, services ) tourist and industrial constitute the second part of the activity of ECOIA in the field of town planning. We act on behalf of development companies, land agencies, etc.
Our know-how includes development studies and studies of connection and service conditions to infrastructure networks. Our expertise in the field of operational urban planning also covers rehabilitation and restructuring projects.
ECOIA pays close attention to the importance of supporting in a qualitative and comprehensive way the actors who have undertaken processes intended for the development or the evolution of their territories, to help them carry out the projects envisaged on the whole of the chain of reflections linked to town planning.
It is obvious that the whole world is subject to global warming to varying degrees due to the increased emission of greenhouse gases caused by the use of underground energies whose combustion releases CO2, which is the one of the main gases in the atmosphere that cause the greenhouse effect. Consequently, all of humanity is exploring other sources of energy in order to respond effectively to the ever-increasing energy demand. African countries have long been subject to energy dependency, even in their largest city.
ECOIA wants to be fully committed to an effective response to this dependence, to the reduction of greenhouse gases by offering governments, decision-makers and communities alternative new and renewable energy solutions based on processes that completely reduce the greenhouse gas emission.
Our structure works with experts in the field in order to offer new renewable energies such as solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydraulic, etc. this in compliance with the application of modern standards in these areas and taking into account international environmental requirements.
According to a UN report, hunger in the world is progressing and could have affected up to 828 million people in 2021. Fighting against poverty therefore implies the implementation of various actions aimed on the one hand at safeguarding arable land (fight against silting through the protection of watersheds, preservation of ecosystems, the development of perennial water sources for total control and agricultural perimeters) and on the other hand to develop them to international standards in order to facilitate the increase in productivity and the improvement of the conditions of the productive framework and the life of the beneficiaries.
ECOIA wants to make itself widely available to decision-makers, any association or group of agricultural interest in order to offer its expertise in the installation, management of agricultural perimeters, farms, etc.
As much as precipitation constitutes a vital element for man and his environment (recharging of rivers and groundwater, development of vegetation, change of seasons, etc.), rainy episodes generate volumes of water sometimes difficult to control, accumulating in low points, flooding habitable areas and creating stagnant pools. These rainy episodes, if poorly managed, can cause multiple effects with an impact on health, material goods, economic development and the environment.
In addition to climate change, which is materialized by the increase and multiplication of extreme weather events and can cause more intense and more frequent episodes of rain resulting in increased runoff and flooding.
Combined with the growing urbanization which is mostly characterized by the spontaneous construction and development of unplanned human settlements, often installed in areas that are not very suitable for habitat (lowlands, floodplains, swamps, shores, etc. .) and “illegal” that absorb a population in search of economic opportunities, expose people and goods.
For ECOIA, a support structure for decision-makers, it is extremely urgent to integrate these aspects (climate change and urbanization) within the framework of our rainwater management missions, by considering the impacts of climate change in terms of frequency or intensity and also taking into account the importance of the urbanization process in order to develop innovative models, in technical terms and beyond, because experiences have proven that a technical and technical approach is not enough and the taking into account the users and the characteristics of these neighborhoods is necessary for the implementation of concrete actions to reduce vulnerability to climatic hazards and to be able to guarantee living conditions in healthy spaces.
Wastewater treatment is now a central element of environmental, health and economic policy. Treating and cleaning wastewater means better quality of life, prosperity and security.
Sustainable management of urban waste water and proper functioning of waste water treatment ensure that soils and groundwater are polluted as little as possible by waste water. It is precisely in the large cities of developing countries that poor waste management can have disastrous consequences. We are building wastewater management systems for the future, helping to preserve both habitats and human health. Our plans provide our customers with safe, long-term drainage comfort, protecting soils and groundwater. We take into account regional socio-economic requirements to develop wastewater systems for rural and metropolitan areas, as well as for large cities.
Water is a source of life for humanity. Indispensable for survival, it is also necessary for the health, resilience, development and prosperity of both people and the planet.
According to a United Nations declaration, one of the fundamental steps taken on the issue of water was to recognize that access to it is a prerequisite for all fundamental rights.
For the ECOIA engineering company, the supply of drinking water and sanitation is a “commitment for life”.
Drawing on the practical experience of our partners and employees, we cover the entire range of skills, from water collection, treatment and storage to distribution in towns and regions.
Efficient, sustainable mobility is a prerequisite for development. Whether in rural or urban areas, village communities or metropolises, people all over the world benefit from the construction of new transport infrastructure or the rehabilitation of existing transport infrastructure and facilities.
ECOIA Engineering draws up grassroots transport development plans, plans the layout of entire neighborhoods and studies traffic routes.
We specialize in the construction, development, and rehabilitation of roads inside and outside cities, including all types of engineering structures, and the movement of people and goods across any natural obstacle.
